Hometown: Long Beach, CA
Ezra Lunel lectures in the Digital Media and Film departments at Santa Ana College and Long Beach City College. He has an artistic background, having spent most of his 20s and 30s traveling and living abroad in a desperate - and ultimately fruitful - “search for himself.” He is also a graduate of UC Berkeley (BA) and Chapman University’s MFA film school program.
Born and raised in California to Egyptian-Jewish parents, Ezra attended Hebrew day schools and yeshivas, causing him deep psychic issues which he is still in therapy trying to resolve. Luckily, he’s kept his firm grasp of Aramaic and the Talmud. He is currently negotiating limits and boundaries with his son Leo, as well as fending off an impending midlife identity crisis.
