"I'm an improv comedy Latino dad. It's just like a normal Latino dad, but cooler."
Juan began acting in his home country of Ecuador. In 2003, he moved to Argentina to continue his studies and graduated in theater and directing. In 2009, he moved to Los Angeles and started studying improv at Monkey Butler in Hollywood where he created his first improv team E.S.L and participated in various festivals and shows all over L.A. with them. He graduated from IOWest where he was part of the main stage Harold team Cash for Gold. He is also part of the teams Day Job and Heraldo (improv in Spanish) at The Second City Hollywood. He also teaches theater and improvisation classes in Spanish and English. After moving to Orange County, he found ImprovCity and become part of the troupe. He feels very fortunate to have found such a talented group and funny people. To him, it is more than an improv group - it's a big family.
