ImprovCity Class Policies & Terms
CANCELATION or REFUNDS
Students can cancel or drop a class at any time. However, refunds will only be granted up to the third week of class, on a refunded proration basis. No refunds are available after the third week of class.
CONDUCT
Inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated and will result in suspension and removal from class. Inappropriate conduct includes, but is not limited to: consumption of drugs or alcohol during class, wanton destruction of physical class space or property, failure to dispose of garbage properly, bringing uninvited guests to class and inappropriate verbal, physical, or sexual conduct.
ATTENDENCE
Students are not allowed to miss more than two classes. Should a student miss more than two, they may not partake in any student graduation showcase, and may be dropped from the class. No refunds will be given for attendance failure. Furthermore, students wishing to move forward to the next level class will have to retake the current class if they miss more than two classes.
TARDINESS
We ask that students arrive on time so as not to waste other students and instructors time with having to repeat information shared at the top of class. Students who are more than 30 minutes late to a class may be marked absent (per instructor's discretion). Any students also leaving more than 30 minutes early may also be marked absent (per instructor's discretion).
MAKE-UP CLASSES
We do not offer make-up classes for any classes missed or attended late/left early.
ADVANCEMENT
Students are NOT automatically guaranteed advancement to the next level of any class. Furthermore, completion of any class or level does NOT grant any students the ability to join our professional troupe. Advancing forward is contingent on attendance, seeing required shows, and a clear understanding of the course concepts being taught. This decision will be determined solely the course instructor.
